The LESA Lesaphon Do-Sol is a suitcase record player by the Italian manufacturer LESA. There is not a lot of info on this specific unit, but by our guess it was made in the early 70’s or late 60’s. It can be used to play records at 33, 45 as well as 78 RPM. It has a built-in speaker and amplifier, and also a DIN output.

About LESA
LESA (Laboratori Elettrotecnici Società Anonima) was an Italian manufacturer of household appliances, though it was best know for its portable turntables. It existed between 1929 and 1972. It went out of business because it could not compete with cheaper bulk products imported from Japanese manufacturers.
This specific turntable might be one of the last ones they produced, but again, we can’t really find any details on it. Do you know more details about it? Feel free to tell us in the comments! 🙂

The unit is physically in great condition. It works well, but the sound is a bit thin on low volume, which seems to be caused by the needle. Luckily, these are readily available in case it does in fact need to be replaced.
It has been properly oiled and greased according to specifications. All rubber parts inside the unit are okay, and have not dried out.
